Bull bars

Shipped fast and received a great quality product. Won’t be able to mount brake levers like a flat bar because you won’t be able to snake them down and on. Must use clamp style or bull bar end levers. No Paul loves for me. Will be ordering from state again soon

Yeehaw!

Bars were easy to install and now my single speed pigeon is more comfortable on the longer rides.

Great for climbing hills

Bought silver bullhorns for my State 4130 Core Line Matte Black 4. I've logged about 300 miles on it and have had zero problems. Their construction has been sturdy enough to not flex when I'm climbing hills while gripping the bar ends.

Bullhorn bars

Absolutely worth the purchase. With just a single gear there are times when you really need to get after it. This style of bar allows you to get in a better position to really "crank" on your pedals.

Just what I needed

I ride the 6061 Black Label and was using the aggressive pista bars for a few months but decided to go ahead and purchase bullhorns as well for different terrain I come across during travels. They're a good diameter and shape and get the job done, no complaints. At a reasonable price and supporting the same company for components like this, you can't go wrong.

Bull horn handlebars make my fixed gear a blast to ride on the road

I am using the 26.0mm / 40cm bull horn handlebars (silver) on my 1970's vintage 531 steel track bike. The bike is fixed gear of course. I want to ride more safely, legally, longer, faster and comfortably on the roads in my area, using an emergency brake. The bull horn bars are working great accomplishing these goals.

I fitted the bull horn handlebars to a 3ttt 25.4mm stem. I only needed to spread the 3ttt clamp slightly to fit the bars. I am using a Dia-Compe BRS 101 front brake (fork mounted) matched to a Dia-Compe handlebar-end brake lever.

When I want to configure for straight fixed gear track use I only need to switch back to the original Cinelli track stem and drop bars. I will not need to un-wrap handlebar tape from the brake lever, cable housing/cable and remove those parts; as I have been doing.

For fixed gear, with a safety brake, when using the drop handlebars. I was using a campy handlebar-end gear shifter as a brake lever (it only worked ok and wasn't very elegant). Plus; for me the track drop bars are not very comfortable on a longer road ride.

The bike set up with bull horn bars is giving me a very comfortable ride, similar to riding a road bike on top of the drop bars & brake lever hoods. Plus my upper body is lower and I suppose more "aerodynamic". The bars work great when cranking out of the saddle. Perfect for longer and faster rides on a fixed gear bike.

The price of these bars has resulted in a very inexpensive solution for this bike. The bike is a blast to ride on the road, and with these bars it is more comfortable for much longer ride.

Bullhorn Bars

First time trying bullhorn bars after my standard handlebars were stolen. These were simple to set up, and work great. Makes riding way more fun than the standard bars. Took a few rides to get used to not having a break at your fingertips at all times, but feels comfortable now. As the other reviews mention, gives good leverage for extra power on hills.

Grabbing the bull by it’s horns

I was in the mood to give my Fixie a makeover. The bullhorn handlebars definitely make my rides flow compared to the pista bars I was using before. Very happy with the Bullhorns.
