EXCELLENT marketing - **** product

I will keep it short - I was on the hunt for a timeless bike crate and after spending time hunting bike shops and the internets I found this setup. Lets list all the **** you sent me: • Wood was banged to ****, I know its for a bike but I like to bang things to **** on my own terms. • Was expecting a built product for that much shipping cost and retail. NOPE might as well gone to IKEA • Screws were WAYYYYY too long - not sure how much you know about wood working but screws that long in a board that thin make thing splinter and crack. It is a really nice look when you mount it. • Why even include a childs screwdriver? You have to bore enough screws to build a dog house into this piece of **** • No mounting bolts for the frame - glad I have a buttload of zip ties but now my bike looks like it is being held together by its its last threads - super classy guys super classy. • **** this product, **** the time I wasted • Sandwiches and sodas fit great in the crate.

Classy appearance but a challenge for me to assemble withou issues

I love the look of this wooden city front bike crate with the bottle opener. I found the quality of the wood and pre-drilled holes were a little inferior but this makes sense for the price. One must be very careful when securing the screws otherwise the wood can crack. Also the crate may not work with a rear carrier other than a State Bike Co model. My bike isn’t from State and is wider than the frame but is working adequately. On a positive note, the employees from State were very accommodating. When I picked up my purchase at the Ride Shop in Tempe, it was unclear at first whether the bottle opener was included in my packaging. Just to be safe the staff gave me a bottle opener. My packaging did include the opener, so I ended up with an extra one. Can’t complain about that.

Wooden crate

I fell in love with the item online and couldn’t wait to get it. When I got it, the quality wasn’t so great. The wood had multiple chips and scratches. I was a bit bumped especially since they forgot to send me my bottle opener (which I had to wait for it to become available). On my bike though, when you don’t see the chips, it looks great.
