Though they were packaged extremely carefully, my Lo-Pro wheels came out of the box EXTREMELY wobbly - the front rim even had some hop to it which, since it is radially spoked, is nearly impossible to fix. A trip to my local bike magician and $45 more dollars later, they were trued. Such a shame that State sends out such wobbly wheels.

I realize, that most fixed gear/single speed buyers are Hipsters Douches, but not all are. Some of the buyers, just want a simple low maintenance bike. That’s me. This is what State Bicycle should put on all there builds, not the deep dish, heavy, just for looks”track wheel set.” The ride quality is so much better with the “low pro” wheel set and now the bike isn’t unnecessarily heavy.

This wheel set is just as the title says, Comfy and Smooth. The low profile box section rim allows you to fill the volume of those .25, .28, or even .32 tires on very nicely and evenly. I have .28 Gator Skins on my set at the moment but before that I was running .32 Gravel Kings as a Tracklocross set up and these wheels are tanks. The sealed bearings are smooth and easy to service yourself with only a few simple tools, and overall they just look great. Very well made and solid wheel set. I was worried about the "low profile" being too thin and have to true up the wheels often, but they hold up very well to pot holes and random curb drop offs. I highly recommend these even if you're just looking for an economic cosmetic upgrade for the look of your bike.

I think they were worth the price. Smoothest ride I have had on my bike and tried a few different wheel sets but these were the first big purchase on wheels. I'd recommend them and hearing me talk about them my roommate is gonna buy him a set too.

The wheels are super light and very nice looking. Great for a last minute buy or looking for wheels on a budget.

I really like these wheels. They have a classic look in all silver, low profile rim and low profile hubs. Perfect for my old school restoration project. The bearings are silky smooth and are so easy to adjust. Hub machining and hardware is spot on. My only issue is that the wheels arrived slightly out of true. I was shocked that a new pair of wheels would arrive so out of balance. I had to throw them in the truing stand and work on both the front and rear to get them straight. Still, I would probably get these wheels again for my next project.

I purchased the "Lo Pro" wheels. Great product so far. Lightweight but well made and durable. I ride on rough pavement and after about 100 miles the wheels are still true. My only complaint is the limited product information available online and the online chat support person was not very helpful during my initial purchase.

These wheels work. My old wheels had some broken spokes and so the frame started to bend. I needed new ones and these are holding up just great.
