Perfect just like I thought

As Soon as I seen thickslicks had a white and a black pair and I found out my wife was getting me this biggie bike for my birthday my mind instantly got the idea of keeping the same original color scheme of the bike and getting one black thickslick for the front and a white one to pair for the rear. It took everything out of me not to spill the beans with my idea while communicating with others who I’ve found on social media who either received or preordered there biggie bike. I wanted to be the first to post this style up. Upgraded the tires from 23s to 25s because there was no 28 white but man it definitely improved the ride, skids are so much more fun now and the look of the ying n yang type swag is just outta this world!!! From staring at these pics, and looking over to my right and seeing my baby hanging up on my bike rack it’s calling my name so let me end this review by saying thickslicks are a definitely must have and now it’s time to go enjoy these bad boys this morning and go get these miles in!!! #smilesformiles #exploreyourstate #statebicycleco

Bouncy, Sturdy, and Fun

Pros: Ride quality and easy to get up to speed despite the weight
Cons: Stickier than a bald typical tire, but still a slick and little easy for me to skid on a cold day.

Just put a fresh set of these on my 6061 v1 and the difference in ride quality and skid control is very apparent and make my Black Label even more fun. The tires are slick, but if you're strong they still skid very easily and you will have to be careful with fresh tires about how you take off from a stand still. The ride quality is something I've never experienced before and I've done a lot of mines on 35c-23c. It may sound weird, but it's like a controlled bounciness that loves speed and remains very stable at 100psi. I ride a pretty rutted paved road and I felt like I was on a cloud in comparison to the 23c's these replaced (was running a Panaracer T-Serv Protex on the front and stock 23c on the rear).

thick slick tires

They are very good tires, thought I was only ordering one tire for the price but 2 came in the mail so I was very happy with the purchase. Also it shipped very fast.

Awesome tires!

Love these tires, I was getting a lot of flats on my commute and these have truly stood up to every type of road debris. Highly recommend

Thickest

I've used multiple brands for my "Frankenstein" Core-Line Pigeon brakeless fixie. And these babies slide super smooth. And fast. AND I've ridden the same 'slicks from October to last Wednesday (March 29th), 20 miles a day in full Northern Michigan backcountry winters (look up Boyne Falls, MI). I'll never buy another tire brand for my bike. The tires held up, and were surprisingly sticky in a foot of snow for having zero tread. Everyday. ZERO COMPLAINTS.

Good Tires

Heard some good things about these tires so I thought I’d give them a try, they ride great in the city.

ThickSlicks

Great tire, rides similar to originals on smooth pavement but smooths out the bumps and gravel. Challenge to get on but thats a one time issue.
