Saved my relationship

Purchased two bikes during quarantine. Being stuck in a tiny Los Angeles studio apartment for hours upon end can take its toll on a relationship. Especially during a lock down. Now me and my significant other ride an average of 20 miles daily, in opposite directions. Riding these bikes gives us our much needed time apart and gives us a little break from each other. Sometimes I even say I get “lost” just to get that extra alone time. Shipping was fast and assembly was simple with some basic tools.

NO TOOLS NEEDED

I was really excited when the bike arrived. It was in a box and delivered directly to my home. I cleared an area in the garage to began assembling the bike. I found the safety manual inside of a smaller box. I read up to where it suggested that the bike be professionally assembled. I stopped there and went to refill my coffee. As I’m fetching my drink I, laughed to myself, saying that I’m a professional. I’m a certified BMW, Toyota, & Volkswagen mechanic. In fact, I serviced bikes for friends and family as a hobby for several years. Anyhow, with a fresh cup of Joe I, was ready to begin the assembly. But then I couldn’t find the instructions. Okay, no problem I can figure this out. With a little help from Google and You Tube, I came to realize that the bike really needed professional assembly. That’s when my happy face turned red. So, I like the bike. It’s sturdy, light, and has sophistication. What I don’t like is the fact that nowhere during the selection or purchase, did I see anything referencing that the bike required professional assembly. So, the local bike shop charged me $150 for assembly and I had to wait 2 weeks due to their schedule. Yes, I’m a little upset about the total cost($299 plus $150) and the fact that I wasn’t advised upfront about the professional assembly requirements. Come on State, you have to be upfront about that.!

I keep up with my friends on their $5000+ bikes

Just finished a 74mile ride and this bike held up exceptionally well. Me and 8 friends (all on cannondale road bikes) raced a few laps around Central Park and by the end of it I won... ON A $300 SINGLE SPEED. I get compliments on the color all the time and props for keeping up with ppl. That being said, it’s still heavy af. 25lbs of lead vs someone’s 16lb carbon fiber. In a battle of attrition you’ll wish you had a lighter bike but if you’re not doing this for racing, especially commuting, it’s a great bike to try. Tighten the brakes bc I got a rattle on mine after ~200miles. If you get the bottle cage and kryptonite lock assume you won’t have any frame real estate left so invest in a saddle bag u can tuck under the seat. I would also upgrade the seat. I make it work but unless you have padded shorts expect cobblestone streets to really turn ur ass to ground beef.
A BIG factor: peace of mind. I ride with a lot of people with expensive bikes and they’re too afraid to lock their bikes or scratch it when setting it down, or riding in riskier neighborhoods. There’s a convenient sense of “f*ck it” when locking your bike up somewhere bc ultimately it wouldn’t be a huge loss. This increases your freedom of where you can ride and what you can use your bike for.

Ride safe y’all!

Great Bike! Love it.

This is an awesome bike, smooth ride and takes corners well. The seat isn’t the most comfortable but that’s easily replaceable.

Bought this beauty for my wife on preorder. Was expecting the shipment to be shipped in late June, but I actually received it on the first week of June! That was an awesome surprise. Had it assembled at the local bike shop so that I could receive the 5 year warranty and even they surprised me. They told me to expect it back in about a week or so due to being very busy, but it was assembled and I received it the very next day. This is her first bike since being a teenager and she immediately fell in love. This bicycle is exactly what you want if you're getting into the fixie life. Very accommodating on the budget. So smooth! I can't wait for my bike to be shipped (preorder)!!! Very happy customers on this end!

Love the new bike!

Just recently started commuting via bicycle and this bike is perfect! Love riding it, makes me excited to go to work lol. The seats not the most comfortable but I might just change that soon, otherwise the bike is perfect, no complaints

Stoked on my new bike!

Such a solid and beautiful bike for under $300. I was a little hesitant to buy a bike online in a box without seeing it in person, especially since I had a poor experience with another similar company. However, this bike greatly exceeded my expectations. The build quality is solid and sturdy, and doesn’t feel cheap at all like some other single speed bikes in this price range. The look of the bike is classic and beautiful, and it rides so nicely. The only thing I would suggest is to check local shop prices before adding up the total cost of the bike in your head. I was quoted anywhere from $100-$200 to get this built to have the warranty validated, which can turn a $300 bike into a $500 bike real fast. Other than that, super happy with my purchase! Love it :)

Nice Bike, Fun Colors

This bike is pretty awesome and affordable. Got the single speed since the roads in Phoenix/Scottsdale are flat and not hilly. Rides nicely.
