OK, this is my review after having taken the Saris Bones 2 on the road with different cars and bikes.
Solid, stable, and easy to adjust. On the first trip, the rack did move slightly down the trunk due to me not having correctly cinched the straps.
On the last trip, I took it for the mountains and rugged terrain and performed well with the van.
On the highway, it's stable and stays anchored as it is supposed to be.
Very happy with the buy and stoked to be able to bring the bikes now on top of the camping gear in our trips!

Man, after months of searching and browsing different brands and models, I went for the Saris Bones 2 that State Bicycle Co. offered online! (it might not hurt saying that SBC prices beat the rest of the sites I searched with the same product, at least here in Japan)
Can't be happier, especially since cars here in Japan are smaller. in general, and I was doubtful of the fitting. The Saris Bones 2, molds like a glove to the back of my japanese car! and can carry my heavy SBC Mtb megalith plus my fixed road bike!
The package was received with no scratches or damage, and the size of it it's so compact! It takes no time to assemble and to take down.
Will review again, as soon as I get on the road this week with it.
