    Great bike for the money

    I love this bike.
Building it yourself is a little challenging because no manual is included.
But I guess they want you to use a professional service.
But a great bike. I love it

    Very pleased

I’m very happy with this purchase. I’ve taken it on a bunch of rides already and I love it. Got a compliment the first day :)

    Great Bike!

Only spent a month with it, but the bike is everything I wanted. Be warned though, the green is much brighter and shinier than it appears in photos

    The tires are cheap

I rode this bike for one day and my front tire popped. These tires are flimsy and I'm not impressed. I'd like some money for a replacement or something, since it couldn't hold up for more than one commute.

This is no bike shaped toy

Not knowing what to expect I was pleasantly surprised that the bike is well built. With the exception of a few pieces that got changed for fit or preference you can ride this bike right out of the box. I set this bike up with just the front brake and that was perhaps the one weak point. It stops, but is a hassle to adjust (won't stay centered). It works though.

If you feel it, do it.

I'll start this off by saying I am by no means a cycling expert. I've ridden bikes here and there as many have, but my knowledge was pretty limited when it came to the actual depth of cycling. Always being one to overthink a purchase, I put in many weeks of daily research and reading on what bike to purchase as a commuter. I'd been eyeballing State for some time and finally pulled the trigger. I honestly couldn't be happier with my purchase. It's a solid ride and I've been loving every minute of it. I don't know what some people mean by their disappointment with the green of the Ranger 2.0. In my opinion, it's pretty much exactly as photographed. I had no problems with my order, but I've heard that those who have received excellent customer service from State. The weight is fine. I've had to carry it up and down flights of stairs/pedestrian bridges and it hasn't been any trouble at all. Some may say it's on the heavy end, but I figure those people probably look like a coat hanger with clothes draped on it, or ride bikes made of the wind that cost them a few thousand dollars. Literally, riding on the wind. Only thing I want to replace soon is the saddle. Other things will come, but a lot of that is more about personalization. If you're thinking about getting one, just do it. Solid bike at a solid price from an engaging and well operated company.

    It's a bike

It does everything that you'd expect from an entry level bike. It's a little on the heavier side but maybe that's because I'm a giant who needs to ride a 62cm ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That being said I recommend these bikes to most people who want to start riding.

    Ranger 2.DOPE

I had my eye on this bike for quite some time and finally pulled the trigger on Black Friday while at work. It came a few days later, I opened the box and it was the Rutherford instead. Carter took care of me and I had my bike beautiful Ranger a few days later. I read some of the other reviews and they said they received compliments on their first ride...I received 5 within the first 2 hours in downtown Riverside. It’s a beautiful bike, rides smoothly and has a good feel to it. Even roommate fell in love with the Rutherford, which he ended up buying since it was already at the casa. Great bike, great customer service.
