Red Hook Crit London No. 1: "Sights & Bikes"

The second installment of the 2015 Red Hook Crit series had our team traveling to London for the first ever Red Hook Crit in the United Kingdom. Needless to say, our riders were stoked.

Traveling around the world makes you an expert bike packer. Hit any of our guys or gals up if you need some travel tips!

First order of business is always registration at Oakley In Residence - London. Second order of business is to get a photo using our "standard" pose.

Scott waited for his first international trip on the 2015 season to unveil a "new" pose he's been dialing in.  We are blown away with this #nextlevel

After registration, it was time for some exploring and sight seeing. As we say #exploreyourstate , but also #exploreotherpeoplescountries when you can!

Riding on the left took a little while to get used to.

Addison has been all over the world this year racing. MORE IMPORTANTLY, so has his famous selfie stick! Here he grabs a quick selfie with Josh, Craig and Scott.

These trips also mean we get to ride with our friends from around the world. Riding with the MASH SF guys is always a trip and you can almost always guarantee a close call...

Crihs Thormann threads the needle.Race day always opens up with women's qualifying. Here, Erica corners on her 6061 Black Label.

Another great shot of Erica in the zone.

Red Hook London was also the debut race for State Bicycle Co. rider & UK native Dave Noakes. Here he gets some info from veteran messenger Alfred Bobe of Team Cinelli Chrome.

Being it the final qualifying group has its perks but it also means long days of waiting. Here are some Cat 1 chillers.

Stoppages lead to more chilling.

Josh taking a pull during qualifying. Our team put up a great time putting them in top starting positions.

Scott whizzes by another rider on the hot lap.

Lined up and drilling it.

Fact: Red Bar Tape makes you 4% faster.

Beautiful snap of the course before the finals begin.

Erica raced a strong race finishing in 23rd overall and now sitting in 21st in the Overall Series standings.

Addison Zawada took a spill early on in the race and with the HUGE help of his teammates was able to fight back to the front.

Scott Piercefield takes a quick corner. Scott ended up 17th, our highest finish for this installment of the Series.

Narrow roads and pure speed! Check out this CRAZY final sprint from Scott as he moves up during the last lap.

Addison Zawada was awarded the Rockstar Top Antagonist award for his efforts to chase back from an early crash, then chase back multiple breakaways. This was the first podium in Red Hook Series history for Team State Bicycle Co.

Congrats to Addison & the Team on this achievement.

One last "Hardstyle" before we came home. Can't wait for the next one in Barcelona, Spain!
