...but the people who worked the store were fantastic. I'd love to come by and buy there again.

I purchased a set of gold bottle cages.
I was immediately disappointed pulling the cages out of the package. Both cages were scratched of their gold color already, showing the silver material underneath. The coating of color is VERY thin; probably just one light-pass of paint. In regular use, I see the color disappearing really quick.
FYI - this is a very ORANGE GOLD bordering on SHINEY ORANGE. Not a lighter yellow gold like displayed here on the website.
For what it's worth, they are very light. Lighter than most of my other bottle cages. I expect they with deform very easily with bumps and crashes.
My advice - get a cage at your local bike shop and avoid these.

I’m so glad I ordered and waited for these and didn’t impulsively overnight ship some cheap ones from amazon. Amazing quality. The color is a perfect match to the photo - which was my main concern. I’m so happy with the service, price, ship time, and quality of the cages. I’ll definitely order more bike-related needs from here! Thank you!

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do and does it well. Installed very smoothly as well
