It's a piece of metal that should be shipped as a spare with the frame. Kind of pricey for what it is, plus 8 bucks to ship.

Does it seem honest to charge $9 to ship a part that fits in an envelope? It’s the little things that make you second guess the larger purchase.

Was unhappy to pay the full shipping cost for this tiny item, but it came straight and worked well, after I realigned my derailleur.

Amazing, the derailleur...it just hangs there in the right position. I wish I could give 6 stars to this derailleur hanger. It really does such a good job just hanging right there where you want it. I really respect that this derailleur hanger is willing to sacrafice itself in the case of an impact in order to save your derailleur. What a noble part. I hope it hangs my derailleur for many miles. Look out for my long term review of this derailleur hanger but so far so good. 6 stars!

This particular derailleur hanger will live in my spares bag for future use. One never knows when a stray rock will bend something critical.

Needed a new hanger and received the incorrect part. State Bike was quick to respond and immediately sent me the correct hanger for my 6061 bike. Had the hanger installed at my local shop so I cannot speak to how easy it is to install but it works great and my bike shifts a lot better now.
