They spin smooth and grip like none other but the reflective straps I purchased we're not the ones in the photos. The ones that arrived have a quilted look to them. Still reflective but I was hoping for a matte not plastic looking strap.

I bought these along with my new 4130 Steel and they are great so far. Lightweight and low-profile. Only improvement would be a greater range of colors to give more options for matching the great colorways State makes.

Do yourself a favor and add the Merritt P1 and Holdfast Straps to your cart. The pedals and straps complement each other well.
Having tried a few sets of pedals from what came stock on my bike to a few others I have to say these have been the best paired with the holdfast straps. The pedals are low profile just like advertise, installing straps is super easy and doesn’t get that funny kink or twist in the straps that I had with another brand. The wide footprint is excellent for those who ride with regular tennis shoes. Personally, I ride with Adidas Stan Smiths, NMDs, or EQTs and all have worked well for me not leaving me with the feeling that the pedals are too small for my footprint or wanting more grip. Install is a breeze. I would say it took me longer to get the bike and find the wrench to swap out the pedals. You won’t be disappointed.

I love the color of the gunmetal platform pedals. These are perfect for my All-Road Gravel bike!! I couldn't ask for anything better.

Unmatched grip really, can also definitely feel how much more room your foot has and how stable my foot feels on them compared to the stock ones on my sunday forcaster.

This bicycle is undoubtedly a worthwhile investment. It offers a smooth and effortless riding experience, allowing me to complete a distance of 33 miles on my inaugural ride. While the seat may require an upgrade, the overall performance of the bicycle is exceptional.
