I've been riding my State 6061 Aluminum All-Road for a couple of years now, and wanted a way to represent State bikes when I wasn't riding. This hat is a great way to do just that. I can't tell who manufactured the hat itself, but it seems to be of good quality. All the stitching is clean and well done. There is even enough adjustability in the back for those with larger heads, like myself. The embroidery is also very clean and well done on the front - white "State Bicycle Co." on the black hat. I like how the style is very understated - State Bicycle Co. knows what they are doing from a branding standpoint. As I just received the hat, I can't speak to how it will hold up for the long term, but everything feels pretty rugged. I always love it when other cyclists ask about State when they see my bike - I look forward to this hat striking up some conversations, as well!

I've got a drawer full of cycling industry hats, but since picking up the Black State Bicycle Company snapback, they've all been unworn and neglected. This hat is just simple and well made. It’s a SnapBack - the bar isn’t terribly high. I’m not looking for anything game changing. I like a hat for what it is and what it does. I don’t need anything fancy or expensive or whatever. Just cover my head and look decent enough
Beyond the comfort, it's versatile. I love that I can rep my favorite band while cruising on casual rides or just going about my day. It's the perfect blend of low-key and stylish. Functionally, it's great too. It does a it’s job of blocking the sun, which is a great for when I'm out setting up race courses.
It’s a hat. There isn’t much to it. The seams are good. The bill is well structured. It might be a little on the warm side, buts there’s no mesh and it’s solid black. I’ve worn it every day since I’ve gotten it and it still looks good.
There isn’t much to say. If you need a hat and you’re buying a bike, add one to your cart. Added to the cost of your bike, you won’t notice it. But you’ll have a nice hat to wear on your way to your adventures!
