4130 Road - Americana - (8-Speed)
State Bicycle Co.'s first geared road bike was the 4130 Road, and Americana was one of its colorways, introduced in 2019 and retired in March 2026. Built on the double-butted 4130 chromoly State was founded on, it nodded to classic road bikes with 8-speed down tube shifting to a Sunrace RD-R81 derailleur. A CNC-machined crank with a 44t ring and an 11-28t cassette gave a versatile range for the city, while a 1 1/8-inch threadless stem and light, wide Lo-Pro rims on sealed-bearing hubs kept it current. Special ornamentation showed up on the levers, hubs, brake pad holders, and saddle, and the frame took front and rear racks.
