      Do it for State

This is my second State Bike Co purchase. Love the bike and the green/tan color scheme. It's starting to get annoying telling people where I got this from.

      New to bikes

This is the first bike that I've purchased. I've used bike sharing services for years, but decided to finally purchase a bike. The design of the hunter-core line is fantastic. It's a really good looking bike. However, I didn't realize that it's a fixie, meaning the pedals never stop moving. I saw that it was single speed, but assumed the pedals could remain in place on downhills. I should have bought the more expensive bike. Now, I'm unsure the best way to return my fully assembled bike. It's my mistake, so I'll likely just deal with it.

      First bike

I have wanting to buy a fixed gear for a while. I finally found a good bike to get stared that isn’t too much of a financial commitment.

      BEACH CRUISER

Bought this bike for a beach cruiser, and as a means of transport to the train every morning. ITS FANTASTIC!

      Bike came with faulty parts

Bike was sent with faulty parts delaying its prep and causing it to be late for my wife’s birthday. Not impressed. All parts should be thoroughly inspected before shipping to customers. Would never purchase again. Sorry, not acceptable.

      Great ride!

If you are just getting back into riding a bike like I was, the Core-Line is perfect. This bike offers a smooth ride and makes you want to ride for hours. I opted for the larger white pedals for mine. Bought them for looks but they are much bigger than the standard pedals that come with the bike and offer better grip on your feet. Highly recommend!

      Simple, solid, sleek

A classic steel frame with basic components that provide everything you need for comfortable and fun city riding. One of my wheels needed to be trued so after assembling most of the bike, I took it by a proper bike shop for a complete once-over and I was good to go. I am 5'11" and purchased the 54cm frame; I think a larger size would end up feeling clumsy while the 54cm feels responsive and handles comfortably.

Gearing can feel a little tough on steeper hills but that's to be expected. Switching between singlespeed and fixed gear is easy and quick but generally isn't something you'd be doing frequently.

I was pleasantly surprised by the saddle and grips--very comfortable and attractive. I can't speak for the other "colorways" but my paint job is beautiful and the white rims and gumwall tires look even better with the optional white pedals.

Overall I am very happy with my purchase. It's a straightforward, classic-looking bike that doesn't have anything excessive. Terrific fun on the way to work, the bar, a buddy's house...Highly recommend and definitely consider State Bicycles my first choice for future bikes.

      Street ready!

I put it on freewheel. It feels very smooth and sturdy on the streets. Can’t wait to put these miles in!

      Turns heads

As a kid I would be in my father's sports car, at a stop light, when people on the streets would remark, "Hey, nice car!" The same thing now happens with this bike. It's a thing of beauty, with a silent ride, and rigid construction.
