Unfortunately I can’t in good conscience recommend these brakes. I thought the mechanical cable disc brakes were bad, these were just as weak, no stopping power. Ultimately I broke down and put on a Corner bar with some cheap Shimano Altus flat mount hydraulic brakes and now have the power & confidence the all road always should have had.

I purchased these last week received them a couple days later. Took them to the local bike shop to them installed and I’m very happy with my purchase. I don’t even hear that irritating braking noise that my previous ones would make. If you’re in the fence about it do yourself a favor and pull the trigger, you won’t be disappointed. It’s a great price for both front and rear and they even look tougher. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🏽👍🏽

Used these to replace some older Shimano brakes that were on a Cervelo C3 I recently built up. I got the frame for cheap and was planning to use all spare parts to finish the build, but the Shimano brake calipers weren't working well enough. I've been a fan of SBC for awhile (I've had 2 fixed gears from them over the last decade that are still going strong) and thought I'd give these brakes a chance. I paired them with the SBC brake/shift levers and they're working great. I've put about 200 miles on them so far and they've worked perfectly. Everything a bike part should be: easy to install, easy to adjust, they work well. I wish I would've ordered them during Black Friday, but even at full price they're worth the $$$

Upgraded my 4130 All Road with these and no regrets. Installation was easy and quick. These feel and work so much better than the stock unit brakes, highly recommended.

These brakes are a great upgrade!

I purchased these instead of TRP cable actuated hydraulic brakes simply due to the price. I figured if they had any better feel and modulation over mechanical disc brakes I would consider it a win but after having them installed and set up I can say these brakes far exceeded my expectations. I would say it’s about 60-70% of what a hydraulic brake set feels like. The aesthetics of the calipers is nice as well. Other options seemed larger and bulkier and these are barely bigger than an OEM mechanical option.

A big improvement over the old mechanical brakes on the bike. Maybe not as great as full-hydraulic brakes, but for the low cost, it's worth it. I recommend this product.

Mounting hardware was not provided. The mount on the brake designated for the front needed to be removed in order to install the correct mount. One of the bolts attaching the mount was stripped. Attempts to unscrew it resulted in stripping it in the other direction. I was able to drill out the head of the screw, remove it, and install the mounting plate from the old brake. The front brake installed perfectly well. The rear brake mounted to the frame but would not adjust inward so that the disc would run free of friction from the inner pad. I reinstalled the old brakes which have an in-out adjustment screw for the inner pad. I am going to sent these brakes back to you. I do not know if State will refund for these but I do not want them back.

going from mechanical disk to these, was a night and day improvement.. so much less effort required for smooth braking power.. my hands aren't tired like they used to be.Obviously for the serious type, you could go fully hydraulic from a components company or e-hydraulic.. but for a fraction of the cost this improvement was nice. Very happy with the upgrade
