State Bicycle Co. - All-Road Disc Brake Caliper (Mechanical)

ROBERT DENUE (Bennington, US)
Allroad mechanical disc calipers.

Overall a good mechanical caliper. Not same performance as a cheap hydraulic but at least you dont have to listen to pads drag. Both sides move when applying brake. It should be stated that there's only outside pad adjuster... Inside pad distance is set when mounting caliper. Redo when pad wears.

No problem with the brakes

The brakes were a great price, set up easily, and allowed me to keep using my existing shifters without upgrading to hydraulic break shifters. Good stuff

Good stuff

I like State products. I have 3 of their bicycles. They're all well built, and very reasonably priced.

Raymond Keller (Tempe, US)
Good Enough

They are better than the promax brakes that originally came on the bike. They are still mechanical and not as good as TRP spyre but they work well especially for the price.
