I purchased these for my 14 year olds daughters Trek Marlin7. They are a little heavy but this build is more about fun! She is all about shredding dirt and bright colors. I’m a 1st 3rd and 5th dad so I texted her a picture of the bike once I had these is installed, she had no idea as it was part of her birthday present. She immediately texted back about how these bars and post were absolute FIRE. Once I picked her up from her moms and brought her to my house I constantly caught her in the garage admiring her bike with a huge smile on her face. Once on the trail she had to make her way around the parking lot showing off how cool the galaxy colored bars and post looked on her bike. She loves the width, rise, and angle of the bars. Thanks for making an affordable oil slick colored cockpit for people who live oils slick!

This seat post looks FANTASTIC.
The finish is amazing, and the SBC logo etching is really well done.
I really can’t say enough about how spectacular it looks. Included hardware is top notch, too.
If you think the scheme will fit the colors you’re going for, by all means pick this up!

Easy part swap paired with the handlebars for a huge visual upgrade

This is a nice, well-designed seatpost, just as expected. The head micro-adjusts and is very easy to set just the right seat angle. The lower seat rail tray is extended length, a nice touch for extra support if you want to slide the saddle rearwards instead of centered over the post (or have long rails like SMP saddles). The finish is nice, although not the high lustre like their oil slick handlebar; the seatpost has a fine ribbing, not a mirror polish. It still looks good, but if I had my druthers, I’d like it to match the handlebar exactly. In all, I’m very happy and enjoying the extra pop of color the post gives and feel more confident in SBC than buying a generic post off eBay from a shadowy, foreign vendor.
