I love to cycle. As a multi disciplinary athlete and fitness coach, I am used to lifting up heavy things. I carried my old Schwinn Betty around the city. Up staircases to ride over bridges, off a beaten path when I’ve gotten turned around. And I live in a place where there are hills everywhere. Seriously, somehow at the top of every hill is another hill. Imagine when I found out that I was using a bike that was nearly 50lbs and there were other bicycles that were 25lbs. My single speed road cycle I purchased is a dream come true. At first I was worried about not being able to shift gears, but then my old bike got stuck in 7th gear anyway. Now I’m all over this city with record speed and ease. And if the hill should get too steep I just pick up my bicycle and put it in my shoulder and sprint up the hill. Delivery was relatively quick especially for it being the season for people to buy. I found a local shop who put the bike together in about 2 hours. I’m excited to see the new places I can go and the change my body has adapted in handling a single speed. I’m actually getting some hips. Would purchase again and would recommend. Named my new bike Bobby.

Solid little kit! Wish it came with a carry bag BUT this just gives me another excuse to spend more money on my bike!

Every cyclist needs a Flat Tire Bundle kit before they hit the road. I'm pretty new to cycling, and have only changed my tire once with the help of a friend. I decided to jump into the deep end and do a do The Mid South 50 mile gravel race this year in Stillwater, OK. Ten miles in I got a flat and having this bundle in my bike bag saved me big time! It's great in a pinch and essential to staying safe and keeping you moving. I ordered my State Bicycle Undefeated Disc and later came back to purchase a Flat Tire Bundle. Will definitely keep extra on hand for my next, inevitable flat. It's always better to be over prepared than under prepared, so do yourself a favor and add one, or two, to your cart now! Can't stress the importance of safety and preparation enough. Just do it!

A beautiful bike. All I could ever ask for the price

I needed a light and simple bike to get around Brooklyn/Manhattan and this one fit the bill perfectly. It rides very smoothly and I personally haven’t had any issues with it being single speed. I got an xs and i’m 5’4”-4.5”ish.
