Significant upgrade for a great price

Other than wheels, this crankset is the most significant upgrade you can give your ride for a very reasonable price. SRAM produces high quality performance parts and the fact these are part of the "track standard" should tell you something.
With that our of the way, these are my favorite cranks for several reasons:

-Stiff as hell. When you pedal, there is NO FLEX or pause... you move forward.
-The GXP bottom bracket is super easy to service yourself and buttery smooth with no creaks or pops as you put the hammer down or lock up a good tire ruining skid.
-Installation is very beginner friendly. I like to learn and service my bike myself and you literally need grease, a BB wrench, and Allen keys to install this set up. Too easy
-They have the magic BCD sizing you need to throw on all those boutique after market chainrings that we all love...don't roll your eyes...you know you love them too
(don't forget the chain ring bolt colors !)

If you're on the fence about this crankset, don't be. You'll get over the stress of clicking submit order as soon as you get that glossy box of joy with "SRAM" plastered on it at your door.

After the worlds supply of Omniums dried up, here comes SBC with the hook up. I can only assume these were superseded back stock, but get them while they last. Beware of frame clearance and chainline, but if you’re after Omniums, this is the only place you will find them. Until you can’t.

Everything was good except the packaging. Shipping times were ok but when I received the crankset it wasn't packaged very well. It was banging around in the box. Other than that I don't have much to complain about.

Great crankset. Very solid. Only 165mm set I could find online anywhere. Not sure if they come with a box or not. Cranks we’re just loose in box but protected/packed nicely. Nothing was scratched or damaged upon receiving. Overall satisfied.

Love it!!!

The SRAM Omnium crankset w/GXP bottom bracket are definitely pricey, but I will say they are definitely well worth the cost! It is 100% better than the cranks that come stock on the 4130 series. I noticed instantly the smooth feel of the ride as soon as I changed them and it is made everything better on the feel, including sprints, climbing, and sustainment. It was extremely easy to install and definitely bring a much cooler look and feel to the overall aesthetic of the bike. So far, I have had them on my bike for a couple of weeks now and have loved every ride with them! I would highly recommend the SRAM Omnium crankset to anyone who is looking to upgrade. Definitely worth the buy and you won’t regret it.

Omnium Crankset Aweseom

This review is actually about my entire "State Bicycle" experience. I purchased the "Undefeated" with the Omnium Crankset and have the ultimate "street warrior." (Mind you I am 56 and just got back into biking after a very long hiatus! The Omnium with the sleek and responsive "Undefeated," makes me feel like a kid as I attack the streets! The Omnium adds another level of "power" to each revolution! Maybe it just looks cool..LOL! (Which it Does!) Well worth the upgrade!

I was glad to get these set of cranks since they’re being discontinued. If I ever need another set know where to go if it’s still available.

Stiffest, smoothest cranks for fixed gear

It's a shame that SRAM discontinued this crankset but a blessing that even three years later amid supply shortages as well, that State still has their hands on some. These cranks are by far the stiffest for track/fixed and imo the first, most cost-effective upgrade you can and should make to your fixed gear build. They have the greatest power transfer through the entire pedal stroke and just make you want to put on the miles. Seriously, the pedal stroke is buttery smooth and practically silent all the way through-just no other way to describe it. The response is absolutely locked -in and tight, no flex in the crank arms whatsoever from leisurely crusing speed to focused, snappy response when you lay the hammer down for quick takeoffs and sprints. I'm team shorter cranks at least with the BB height and overall geometry of this Undefeated frame so I went with the 165mm crank length and could not be happier over the improvement in ride feel from the Essor Aerodash (172.5mm cranks)which are good in their own right/pricepoint but not as stiff, durable and light as Omniums. I had Omniums on a previous Undefeated that I put over 7500km on and this drivetrain ride quality is a feeling I can't forget and don't wanna live without so the upgrade was a no-brainer must-have. Bless SBC for securing this legendary crankset that most definitely lived up to the hype it had in its run.

Pros: STIFFY and light 7065 Al crankset, buttery-smooth bottom bracket, classic/professional black/white accent design looks rad on any color frameset, versatile 144BCD fits many after market chainrings, best crankset in this price range hands down even with stock chainring/BB

Cons: Only one place to find them as far as I've seen is here at State, as they're discontinued but State offers them at an unbelievably good price. Omnium crank arms have been known to have clearance issues with some track-specific frames(go figure), luckily not a problem if you buy basically any State frame which is why you're here anyways right? 😉 Bottom bracket that was shipped with my order required a spacer (which was not in my order when it arrived). This may not be an issue for some frames, but specifically my Undefeated needed a spacer for this BB to thread properly and luckily my bike shop that performed the drivetrain swap had some spares. Something to note, although State has amazing customer service I'm sure if you ask them they might be able to ship you a spacer or two.

Get these bad girls before you can't no mo and you won't be sorry!

Great Crankset

Great crankset! These are my second Omniums, first one lasted me a good 6 years with no issues and I rode that thing rigorously every day because my bike is my main way of commuting. The first time I installed them I could tell the difference between the stock cranks. I had no idea what it meant when I heard they are "stiff." But you can really feel the difference when you're mashing up a hill or when you lock up that rear wheel to skid. Installation is super easy with all the tutorials on Youtube and it doesn't require that many tools just a BB wrench, grease and hex keys. Is it absolutely necessary to have, not if you don't care about having a SICK BUTTERY SMOOTH RIDE! I know it's pricey during these hard times, but if you have the money, I believe it's worth it.

Very stiff and responsive

I’ve given these quite a few tries on a few different bikes so I knew I wanted these but I was pleasantly surprised when finally getting the chance to put this crankset on my own bike
Probably the most responsive crankset I’ve rode giving lots of really smooth feeling skids these had been pretty hard to find and I assume that’ll continue to be the case once states supply runs dry so I’m glad to have found them here when I did also the shipping was pretty quick
