These are a big improvement over the metal toe clips and leather straps I normally use! This foot retention system is way more comfortable, and they don't mar my shoes.

I’ve seen cheaper straps on amazon and what not, but honestly for the price of these it’s totally worh it,, im waiting on my bike still but this makes the wait worth it. You get what you pay for, and the quality is amazing and easy to use.

Work as intended

Having worked in the bike industry, I was hesitant to make a direct-to-consumer purchase. After being out of the fixed-gear scene for a while, I was stoked to see State still staying true to fixed-gear culture and offering a build at an affordable price that people actually want to ride: solid tire clearance and simple geometry for any type of adventure.

Assembly was simple, and aside from the wheels being slightly out of true, I went from placing my online order to being back in the saddle of a fixed gear again in no time. Customer support was solid. Oh yeah, and the bike is an absolute blast! I'm really enjoying it so far.

The bike itself is fantastic - came well packaged and went together very easily and quickly, after following State's YouTube video for assembly (note, you need to get it professionally assembled to qualify for warranty).

I fat fingered an order, accidentally ordered an xs bike when I meant to order a large. I emailed them that night and got a response and a fixed order the very next day. I’ve had so many issues in the past with companies making it a huge annoying ordeal when you need to switch up your order, so for no hassle at all I was very pleasantly surprised. I’ve been riding the bike for the past few weeks and it’s been a blast, I have it in fixed and I am learning and having a lot of fun riding fixie. I get compliments on the bike constantly for friends and strangers, bike is very smooth and sturdy, and gets me around great.
