Just wish you had a 46t or possibly 48t option

What can I say……?
I’m an older rider, and I need to spin for efficiency. Dropping down to a 38 gives me better range and more options for attacking the hills.
Bolted on easily! No problems.

Works great. Super easy to swap, all you need is an allen wrench and you can slide the chainring off the crank/pedal without needing to remove them. Honestly, this would have been a better spec stock, as it has more usable offroad gears (flat/rolling) and the gears for steep pavement climbs. I would like to see state offer even smaller ones in the future like 34t or 36t as an easy way to gear down for loaded riding. Great value and the part just works.

I bought this in the 40t variation and paired it with a sram setup and 11-42 cassette. The gearing is perfect, I have enough high and low gearing without the fidgeting that a front derailleur usually requires. i've already done quite a bit of miles (100+) and have had zero chain drops and hardly any wear! This chainring is a great bang for the buck.

I just got doing the GAP. Pittsburgh to Cumberland Maryland and back and wish I had one more gear to climb out of some of the towns fully loaded. Had a 42 on it when I got it. Ordered a 40 after talking to staff and another bike store. What a difference it made. LOVE,LOVE THIS BIKE !!!! I came from a FX3 to a 4130 and am total happy and will never look back. AWESOME BIKE !!!!

Ordered a 38 tooth chain ring for my 4130 All Road. Received it about a week later. I installed it and went out and rode 35 miles of gravel. It worked flawlessly. I am satisfied with my purchase.

After testing multiple riding scenarios and limited to the 11 speed cassette I opted to going 2 teeth bigger chainring on my All-Road. Made a huge difference. Glad I could find one directly from State.

Switched from a 42 to a 38 on my 4130 All Road, the ratio is now peeeerfect.

Haven't had a chance to ride wit this chainring yet. Fit & finish look nice. Have to see how good chain retention is. Using it with 1x10 Sunrace cmxs3 cassette (11-42t) & a Sram xo1 11spd shifter/derailleur.
