My first dropper - Install thoughts

Great piece of gear. It's my first dropper, so my in-use opinion is not going to be as useful as more experienced riders. If you get an All Trails just order it as a factory option. Follow State's sizing suggestions. They are wise people.
I did the install myself. A few thoughts. 1) You can probably do it. 2) Tools: Need decent allens, good quality cable cutters, torque wrench. 3)Attitude is everything with this process.
4) Watch PNW's installation videos. Link below. 5) Remove all the water bottle bolts, they are obstructions to feeding the cable. 6) Do what the video suggests, but please do not get frustrated. Just because there are routing fixtures on the frame the housing will be tricky to get through the ports. It takes 3.47 zillion attempts , and that's OK.
6) Ride and tune the lever placement, cable length, etc.
7) It is an awesome piece of kit and I'm amazed at how well made and smooth it is to operate, but that's why State sells it.
