    Great

Lower mounting holes were undersized for my bikes mounting bolts. Simply overbored holes to size and rust proofed. Easy.

    Rear Pannier

Item was as specified. However, there was no instructions on how to install and it was missing some screws for attaching it.

Good price for a decent rack

Easy enough to fit to the bike, but not impressed with the quality of the finish. Expected a nice chrome, but the one I received is pitted and dull - like it was poorly spray painted silver. I guess I expected too much for $34.99.

Great product, Great customer service! A glitch on second order

Ordered a bike rack for my daughter for Christmas. It was delivered promptly . On a different note, my wife ordered a basket for my daughter’s bike before I ordered my order. When it did not arrive for a couple of weeks she called customer service only to be told they could not locate or track the package. After some discussion, the agent agreed to re-send the order which arrived within a few days but in time for Christmas.

    Good and stylish rack

I found the rack easy to mount and I find it very stylish and cool. It’s a pity that it came without the bolts, otherwise I would have given five stars. Works very well with my Vaude bags. I haven’t found a way to secure my U-lock to the rack yet.

    Form Function

No hassel, easy to install rear pannier. Like, don't need instructions, just-match-stuff-up-kind-of-easy. Hard to find these racks with a chrome finish for a reasonable price. So thank you State for carrying these. Looks great on my retro-mod Trek 620. I've loaded about 25lbs on it without batting an eye. Not sure if it can handle loaded bags on both sides, but may update this review when I do so. The struts that attach to the rear eyelets are a little narrow, but can be bent outward if need be. I haven't had any problems with it. One word of advice is to tighten down the bolts that dictate how much the rack rotates before connecting it to the bike— once the rack is on the bike and the wheel is there, there's not much room to operate.

    Confusing customer service

I spoke via chat with one person who was very friendly but not very helpful, then never got the follow up with the info and help I needed that Mr. Friendly promised. I had to get in touch several times to finally get the info and help I needed. I would recommend going somewhere in person rather than the state bike website.
