Good value, tires are silly

My only complaint is the "28" tires measure, on the included rims, at only 22mm!! Ridiculously narrow for almost every use, and I (intending to commute on less-than-perfect road surfaces) replaced them with wider tires immediately. 1990 called and they want their tires back. Jeez.

Zippy Quick Rigby

I was surprised how quickly this bike gets to a comfortable 17-20 mph speed. I commute about 12 miles one-way to work enjoying several different bikes. Even with the mild hills, the net commute time was only a few minutes off from the road bike. I have about 100 miles on this bike over the past few weeks and already the strength in my legs from riding a single speed is paying off on the quicker, lighter fast bikes.

Bike was well boxed/packaged. Easy to put together. Sharp looking.

Obsessed with Rigby

Absolutely in love with this bicycle, maybe even borderline addicted. It rides so well and the design of the bicycle is gorgeous. Best purchase I have made in a long time.

Nice Bike but A little Overpriced surely

I really love the way it looks and feels, but a wheel had come in with a bent spoke, and I feel like the bike is slightly overpriced. Hence 4/5 instead of 5/5 but can't deny overall this is a very nice bike.

Bang for your buck!

There are many other fixed/single gear bikes in this price range, but I believe the State Core Line offers the best bang for your buck. The fit and finish is fantastic and makes this feel like a much more expensive bike. It really rides like a dream. Fast and smooth!

I’ve included some detail pics because there are a lot of nice, little touches that give this bike great character. Happy trails!

Would recommend!

I love my new bike! I’m aiming to use it mostly for commuting and think it’s going to be perfect to get me started. It was the most affordable bike I could find for what I wanted—and it’s pretty freaking cute. ( :

The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that when I received it, it had a little damage from shipping. The wheel hub was a little bent, so to get the wheel on, I had to choose between shipping it back or filing the metal down to make space for the wheel. I opted for about an hour of filing metal until the wheel could be slipped on. All is fine enough (especially considering how fast the bike shipped and how easy it was to put together otherwise) but still notable. Thanks again for the great bike!

Love it!

Love this bike! It’s so gorgeous in person. I’ve had a bunch of people ask where I got it because it’s an incredibly beautiful bike!

Expectations exceeded!

Just got my Rigby assembled today and already did my first 30k! \o/ The bike is amazing. Works perfectly for Toronto which is flat and well paved. The fine design attracts attention too. Super stoked!

Incredible bike for the price

I was riding a hand me down bike prior to this - after a ride with a friend i decided a new bike was necessary however, I didn't have $1000 to put down on a bike. This bike didn't break the bank, arrived quickly, was easy to assemble and rides like a dream! So glad I found state bicycle!
