The bike is in great condition, I picked it up unbuilt and hardly had to do any adjustments when putting it together. Rides great! Unfortunately I was disappointed by the bike style I received. I was under the impression that the mystery bike deal meant that I would at least get one of my 3 top picks, but what I got wasn’t even one of my top 3. I’m glad to have a bike but folks should be aware it really is a mystery and you may not get one of the styles you pick!!

Listen, love you guys. Love your bikes. I’ve had a bunch. Understand the whole mystery bike approach. But it dawned on me that program is more a way to ship overstock and I should have known better. Not pointing any fingers at you guys, pointing them at me. Business is business. I reached out to you after delivery and explained my case which was rather unique, took the answer “sorry no”, and ended it there. But looking back, I think there should have been some sort of option or something given I wasn’t a first time buyer and the fragility of my situation. Perhaps 30% off on a different bike should I choose to purchase or something like that. Just further discussion in general.

Love the bike! I only have two complaints, first there is a drop of black paint on the frame just under the seat. It came out of the box that way. Seems like that is something you would catch in QA but...

Second, the warranty is bullshit. I assembled the bike and then saw that for the warranty to be valid it has to be professionally assembled! I know my way around a toolbox, have done major repairs on cars and motorcycles, assembled IKEA furniture, so putting a bicycle together is quite remedial for me. Just sucks.

Love the bike though, the color (sans the black spot) is beautiful. :)

For the price, the bike is great in terms of ride and quality. However, reiterating previous posts, too much mystery led to receiving the only bike I highly dislike (regarding style). None of my top three choices were chosen and unfortunately exchanges are not an option when purchasing the mystery bike. The deal does come off as an overstock clearing, which for some people could be fine for the price.

I have been stalking bicycle state site for a long times. Finally I had the opportunity to purchase a bike. As well as getting the Core line for 199 sale. I am new to the Mystery bike theme, however I figured I’ll take a change.
I couldn’t wait u til the drop it off at my door. I stalked the delivery guys for days. I picked my top three hoping for my top 3!!! I was some what disappointed. As much as I love the the design and quality of the bike, I never received neither of the top three. Worse of all, I truly dislike the color of the bike. It’s one those color, I have said “I would never get that color, if I get a bike”. Sigh*** my 1st and the colors a disappointment. :(

Frame of the bicycle very well done and beautiful, much more than in the photos. The mechanic approved the parts and liked the structure of the bike. I have already received compliments on the first tour. Thanks SBC

I really like this bike. I got it from a mystery bike deal and don’t like the color. That being said, I thought the quality of the bike was excellent. Very light and fast. I was so impressed with their product I decided to buy a black label v2 to replace the bike I received (not one of my color choices). Definitely would recommend this bike, but be aware you’ll get their overstock. “Try our best to get your color” actually means you get what isn’t popular— I would have been able to buy any of my preferred colors full price, (they were in stock) so it’s pretty obvious that’s not what’s gonna happen.

Picked up a mystery bike (core line) for Black Friday. Got my first choice and it shipped and arrived promptly in good shape. Rides nice. Can’t beat it for under $300!
