Designer, cyclist and cancer survivor from Mexico, Eduardo López , takes us behind the scenes of his Monday Motivation work. Eduardo shares his process, his passion, and what he rides.

We commissioned Long Beach resident and designer, Adam Gonzalez, to head up our Monday Motivation Series this month. Adam shares a bit about his design process and we recap his fantastic lettering work conducted for State Bicycle Co.  

As a child, I used to ride my bike every single day. It was a way for me to escape and feel like I could do whatever I wanted within the confines of my neighborhood. I also grew up with a love for drawing. When I was inside—I was drawing and when I was outside—I was biking.

Lettering artist extraordinaire, Rodney , just wrapped up a round of work for State Bicycle Co.'s Monday Motivation series on Instagram. In this post, Rodney dives into how he began lettering and what motivates him to keep at it, as well as showcasing some of his work commissioned for State Bicycle Co.

I actually had no clue who or what State Bicycle Co. was until about 2 years ago. A friend of mine rode by my piece and snapped a quick photo & hashtagged it with #StateBicycleCo.
